Test Notary - New Notary Class Fee

IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION:

FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY, SIGNS WILL BE POSTED THAT A MASK MUST BE WORN. THEY MUST REMAIN ON IF YOU ARE ATTENDING THE CLASS IN PERSON.

PLEASE NOTE THAT PAYMENT MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION AND NO REGISTRATIONS ARE ACCEPTED WITHOUT PAYMENT.

This class will take place at the Mahoning County Bar Association.  The fee for the New Notary Class is $130.00 and must be paid via credit card online.  Be sure that the address and zip code you enter match the address and zip code of where you receive your credit card statements.

Bring a valid Ohio Driver's License or Ohio State Issued ID. Please have ID ready upon arrival.

Come approximately thirty minutes ahead of time so that you are completely checked in and seated by the start of the class. Please be advised that we cannot accommodate anyone who is late. This will result in having to reschedule.

Must provide an email address for the certificate to be emailed. You are permitted to bring a non-alcoholic beverage. You are permitted to bring a sack lunch or snack.

Bring a pen or pencil and a notebook for taking notes.

The class time is three hours, plus there is 15 minutes of additional time for a break, with the test being issued immediately after.  We can inform you of the results that day.  Upon passing, a certificate will be sent to the email that you provided.

If you are an attorney, the New Notary Class is $75.00 and can be paid online via credit card.  You will not be required to test.  Be sure that the address and zip code you enter match the address and zip code of where you receive your credit card statements.

Notary classes will take place at the Mahoning County Bar Association. The address is:

Parking is located across the street on Front Street. The lot has a small attendant booth with a trellis that says, "Parking." There is no charge for parking, but if an attendant should approach you for a fee, tell them you are there for the notary class at the Bar Association and there will not be a fee.
